this site is operated by Esenti Skincare, 120 – 3900 Bayview Street, Richmond, BC V7E 3M2, Canada. by placing an order you agree to these terms.

our products are cosmetics, not medicines. nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. if you have a skin condition you’re worried about, please talk to a doctor or dermatologist.

please patch test. before using a new product, put a little on the inside of your arm and leave it a day. natural ingredients cause reactions just as synthetic ones can.

if something stings, burns or breaks you out, stop using it and get in touch. if you have a serious reaction, see a doctor.

when you order a custom blend we ask about allergies and pregnancy, and we rely on your answers to make something safe for you. please answer them accurately — we can’t account for what we’re not told.

placing an order is an offer to buy. we accept it when we email you to confirm — that’s the point a contract exists between us.

we can decline an order. that might be because something is unavailable, because we’ve spotted a pricing mistake, or because an order looks fraudulent. if we decline after you’ve paid, you get a full refund.

prices are in Canadian dollars and don’t include shipping or tax, which are added at checkout. we can change prices at any time, but never after you’ve placed an order.

payment is handled by Stripe through Snipcart. we never see or store your card details.

if a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we’re not obliged to sell it at that price — we’ll contact you and either confirm the right price or cancel and refund.

everything is blended by hand in small batches from natural ingredients, so colour, scent and texture vary a little from batch to batch. that’s the nature of the thing, not a fault.

we photograph products as honestly as we can, but screens differ and so will the exact shade you receive.

if something isn’t right, see returns & refunds. custom blends are mixed to your individual formula and are final sale.

the text, photographs and design on this site belong to Esenti Skincare. please don’t reuse them commercially without asking.

we try to keep everything accurate and available, but we can’t promise the site is always correct or always online.

needs a lawyer. this clause decides what esenti is on the hook for if a product causes harm, and boilerplate copied from another shop is worth very little. get it written properly before launch.

nothing in these terms limits your rights under the BC Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, or any other right that can’t be signed away.

these terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. confirm with a lawyer — this is the sensible default for a BC business selling only within Canada, but it should be a decision rather than an assumption.

we may update these terms. the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order, so the date below is worth noting.
